Description

Celonis is hiring a senior Design Engineer to own and build its design system and front-end architecture. The role combines UX design, interaction decisions, Angular and TypeScript development, accessibility, design tokens, Figma Code Connect, AI-generated UI evaluation, and mentorship. It requires 5–8 years of design engineering or front-end experience, strong UX and front-end skills, and fluency with AI design and coding tools. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5–8 years of design engineering, UX engineering, or front-end experience, including significant hands-on design-system or component-library work in a SaaS or B2B environment.
Production front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Accessibility expertise implemented in code using WCAG 2.2.
Hands-on experience with AI design and coding tools.
Preferred Qualifications: React experience or openness to React.
Production experience with Figma Code Connect.
Experience building or integrating MCP servers.
Experience building evaluations for AI-generated UI or writing AI-generation specifications and prompts.
Experience with complex, data-dense, or real-time interfaces.
Token-pipeline experience with Style Dictionary, Tokens Studio, or equivalent.
