Ursa Major is hiring a Senior Design Engineer, Solid Missile Systems to design, analyze, qualify, and lead development of solid rocket motor primary and secondary structures and propulsion elements. The role requires clean-sheet design, customer requirement translation, prototype testing, cross-functional coordination, CAD and drawing management, supply-chain support, and technical mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, rocket-motor and solid-propulsion expertise, additive-manufacturing knowledge, and eligibility for a Secret Clearance. The position is full-time exempt, pays $105,840–$132,300, and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
