Microsoft is hiring a Senior Design Verification Engineer for its Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering organization to support the design, verification, bring-up, and tape-out of computer chips such as Azure Cobalt. The role involves planning verification of complex design IP, creating SystemVerilog and UVM test environments, developing C/C++ tests, debugging failures, writing functional coverage, collaborating with architecture and design teams, and improving validation efficiency.
