Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Design Verification Engineer for its AI Silicon Engineering SoC Design Verification team. The role develops verification environments, test cases, plans, scoreboards, constraints, assertions, coverage, scripts, and Makefiles; performs pre-silicon functional verification, reference modeling, and post-silicon validation; and debugs simulation, emulation, and testbench failures. The position requires a relevant doctorate with at least one year of technical engineering experience, or a master's degree with at least four years, or a bachelor's degree with at least five years, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include simulation and debugging experience, chip or computer architecture experience, and hardware verification tools such as Verilog, VHDL, C/C++, and Python. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
