Caleres is hiring a Senior Designer, Veronica Beard in New York City to support and direct associate designers and coordinators, collaborate on brand aesthetic collateral and photoshoots, design footwear, lead the design process through thumbnailing, sketching, tech-pack building, proto fittings, and proto comments, and partner with Product Development, Tech, and Sales. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a design-related field, at least seven years of footwear design and brand-building experience, leadership and people-management skills, and strong Procreate sketching skills; Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are preferred.
