The role covers cover and interior design, branding, project management, freelance illustrator oversight, prepress and proofing, promotional materials, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates need at least 5–7 years of book-publishing design experience, a strong portfolio, proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, and experience with prepress and long-form book interiors. The position offers a salary of $65,000–$75,000.
