Description
Nationwide is hiring a Senior Developer for a six-month secondment to its Banking team, supporting the Fujitsu Mainframe savings platform and the migration to a new platform. The role involves designing, building, testing, reviewing, and supporting mainframe solutions; managing work through Jira; resolving defects; participating in live-service incidents; and joining an on-call rota. Candidates need Fujitsu Mainframe development experience across the full change lifecycle, experience with business-critical core banking applications, strong problem-solving and quality-focused delivery skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The role offers flexible working, with hybrid requirements depending on the applicant’s base location and a regular Gosforth site visit approximately once per quarter.
