The role also covers AI-assisted coding tool rollout, developer experience measurement, security and compliance automation, documentation, and developer education. Candidates need at least five years of professional software engineering experience, including three years building developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or infrastructure automation, along with experience in GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and at least two programming languages. The position is hybrid and offers base salaries of $188,000–$242,000 USD per year in New York, $167,000–$215,000 CAD per year in Toronto, and $1,680,000–$2,168,000 MXN per year in Mexico City.
