Trail of Bits is hiring a Developer Relations Engineer to expand its relationships with security practitioners, researchers, maintainers, and open-source communities. The role combines hands-on security engineering, developer advocacy, technical writing and speaking, open-source maintainer support, conference and meetup participation, community feedback, and adoption of the company’s research and tools. It is remote-first, full-time, travels about 25% of the year, and requires typically seven or more years of security experience plus demonstrated public technical work and practical experience building AI-native tooling.
