Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Senior Development Engineer in Propulsion to own the development of engines, turbopumps, valves, injectors, and fluid systems for the Electron rocket. The role covers requirements definition, NX-based analysis and manufacturing, EBOM ownership, engineering drawings, test campaigns, hot-fire validation, and flight operation and maintenance. The engineer will also set technical standards, manage risk, resolve cross-team problems, lead department-level planning, and coach engineering teams. The position requires at least six years of industry experience, an engineering degree, manufacturing and production knowledge, experience moving products from development to rate production, and the ability to technically steer multiple projects through operation.
