Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and integrate optical and optoelectronic systems, including rear-view mirrors, camera monitor systems, wiping and cleaning systems, and kinematic sensor mounts. The role covers component positioning, electrical interfaces, load specifications, verification, and CAD documentation using Siemens NX, while coordinating quality, cost, schedule, and systems requirements. A degree in mechanical, plant, or automotive engineering is required; professional experience, project and systems engineering knowledge, vendor management, CAD/PLM, English, and strong technical and systems thinking are preferred or beneficial. The position is based at the Unterlüß site and offers mobile working and other benefits.
