ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is hiring a Senior Development Engineer Embedded Software to develop hardware-near embedded software in C/C for guidance systems under Embedded Linux for missiles. The role includes configuring the Embedded Linux kernel with Buildroot, developing real-time kernel modules, creating technical architectures and performance analyses, owning software development from requirements through testing, supporting releases and system integration, coordinating with project partners, and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a relevant degree, practical embedded Linux experience, real-time programming expertise, structured problem-solving, occasional travel, and secure German and very good English language skills.
