Elgin is hiring a Senior Development Manager to lead utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from site identification and origination through consenting, investment readiness, and ready-to-build. The role owns complex projects across land, planning, grid, commercial, technical, financial, legal, and stakeholder workstreams; leads negotiations and external consultants; manages budgets, risks, permits, and development contracts; supports investment evaluation and co-development opportunities; and mentors development staff while providing strategic input to senior management. The position requires extensive renewable energy project development experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, strong commercial and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to work at a senior and executive level.
