SOVRA is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Calgary on a hybrid basis to own the platform layer for its public-sector procurement platform. The role designs and operates AWS infrastructure, Terraform-based environments, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, compliance, and AI-assisted DevOps tooling; it also requires participation in sprint ceremonies, incident management, root-cause analysis, and a 24/7 on-call rotation after onboarding. Candidates need at least five years of DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE experience, three years of hands-on AWS experience, CI/CD ownership, cloud security knowledge, observability experience, scripting ability, and familiarity with AI-assisted tooling.
