Description

Erste Digital is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Oracle expertise to improve the reliability, automation, and evolution of its enterprise database platform and infrastructure ecosystem. The role combines DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering, focusing on Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, CI/CD, observability, incident response, Oracle RAC/Data Guard/RMAN operations, disaster recovery, and operational excellence across mission-critical production environments. The position requires recent professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, hands-on automation and infrastructure-as-code experience, and practical knowledge of Oracle database operations; it is a full-time role with a stated minimum gross salary of EUR 2,900 per month.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Recent active professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering in business-critical enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and Ansible
Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and self-service platforms or tools
Practical understanding of Oracle database operations and administration, including RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, enterprise storage and backup, open-source infrastructure, or hybrid cloud environments
Experience with Grafana and Oracle Enterprise Manager
