Description

vector8 is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Zurich to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, develop CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes and Docker, implement infrastructure as code, monitor and troubleshoot systems, and support AI workloads. The role requires at least five years of commercial cloud experience, strong cloud, container, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code skills, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, and professional German and English language skills. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of commercial experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible
Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Generative AI platforms and AI application infrastructure
Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI/LLM platforms
Understanding of LLMOps concepts
Experience supporting AI workloads on Kubernetes and GPU-enabled environments
Knowledge of vector databases, AI gateways, and RAG architectures
Familiarity with AI security, responsible AI, and data governance
Experience with MLOps or LLMOps tooling
Understanding of AI agent architectures and orchestration frameworks
Exposure to AI workload infrastructure optimization
