Description
Swisscom is seeking an external GitLab Platform Engineer to operate, maintain, and continuously improve its self-managed GitLab platform as a central CI/CD, source control, and collaboration tool. The role includes building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, integrating developer tooling, automating infrastructure with IaC, ensuring platform availability and security, and supporting development teams. The position requires extensive GitLab and CI/CD experience, knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, IaC, Linux system engineering, and fluent English; German at B2 is advantageous. It offers flexible work with home office after onboarding and a potential permanent internalization, and requires Swiss residency and shift work.
