Description
The City of New York is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for its Office of Technology and Innovation in Brooklyn, New York. The role reports to the Infrastructure Management division and provides site reliability engineering for automation services, including monitoring CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and application health; triaging and escalating incidents; maintaining scripts, YAML configurations, Terraform, and Ansible modules; validating deployments; participating in design and code reviews; and maintaining runbooks and documentation. The position is open to current city employees, may require overtime and weekend or night shifts, and requires substantial information technology experience with administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience.
