PayPal is hiring a Venmo Data Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, operate, and automate secure and scalable data infrastructure, pipelines, databases, and message-streaming solutions for Venmo and related teams. The role includes building tools for data insights, troubleshooting performance and customer issues, and collaborating with product, engineering, analytics, and executive stakeholders. It requires hands-on experience with cloud databases, distributed systems, AWS services, infrastructure as code, scripting, and big-data operations, with primary locations in San Jose and Austin, California and Texas, respectively.
