Nelnet is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to provision, configure, and monitor Azure infrastructure and cloud application platforms using GitOps, Terraform, CI/CD, automation, and application security. The role supports legacy and modern application deployments, production releases, monitoring, POC environments, and compliance with NIST security standards. It is a remote position based in Romania and requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus 7+ years of software development or systems engineering experience and 3+ years of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation experience. Compensation is $245,000–$384,000 ROM based on experience, with medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, retirement, and other benefits.
