Description
The Systems Engineer will work with software engineers to design and deliver mission-critical services and systems for high-traffic real-time marketplace products. The role involves building resilient, scalable, self-healing systems in Amazon Web Services using infrastructure and cloud technologies such as Nginx, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Consul, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, and Jenkins. The position requires strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, systems architecture, Linux, databases, web and file servers, cloud and container services, configuration management, programming, incident response, and a security-focused mindset.
