Description

Phoenix Ops Group is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support mission-focused technical operations in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The role focuses on building, deploying, automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, Linux, and related systems. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and substantial relevant experience, and must work onsite five days per week with occasional travel. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree
7+ years of relevant experience with a master’s degree
13+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Strong experience with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration technologies
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience deploying, scaling, managing, and troubleshooting applications, containers, and operating systems
Programming or scripting experience using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages
Experience with Git and modern development/deployment tools
Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of Agile software development practices
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting big-data or distributed-data technologies
Experience with K9s and AWS CLI
Familiarity with additional AWS services such as SNS and SQS
