Description

Cleerly is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineering Manager to lead cloud infrastructure, DevOps capabilities, software delivery, platform reliability, security, and people management for its regulated healthcare diagnostic software platform. The role involves AWS architecture, CI/CD and deployment automation, Terraform infrastructure as code, observability and incident response, cross-functional technical leadership, hiring and mentoring engineers, resource planning, and compliance with regulated software and quality-management requirements. It is primarily remote/work-from-home with less than 5% domestic travel and offers a base salary of $179,000–$219,000 plus a 15% target annual bonus.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years of professional software engineering, DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related experience.
At least 5 years designing, building, or operating cloud infrastructure and automated software delivery systems.
At least 3 years of technical leadership, architecture, mentoring, or complex engineering initiative leadership.
At least 2 years of direct people-management experience, including performance management, coaching, hiring, and professional development.
At least 5 years working with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure, with strong hands-on AWS experience.
At least 3 years building or managing production CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
At least 3 years of Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or a comparable technology.
Experience with containerized or distributed application environments.
Experience with production monitoring, observability, incident response, and system reliability.
Experience integrating security into cloud infrastructure and software delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: Regulated-industry software experience, preferably healthcare or medical devices.
AWS EKS and Kubernetes production experience.
SRE practices, SLOs, operational metrics, and incident-management experience.
Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or comparable observability platforms.
Familiarity with regulated software development lifecycle and quality-management systems.
