Rocket Lab is hiring a Senior Digital Payload Engineer II for a future opening at its global headquarters in Long Beach, California. The role develops digital payload products such as modems, processors, and network routers from concept through inflight operations, including requirements, architecture, prototyping, PCB layout, qualification, production, test plans, GSE, automation, and customer support. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or another engineering discipline, at least 8 years of space electronics experience, expertise in high-speed serial interfaces and digital signal processing, and U.S. citizenship. The position offers a base salary of $141,800–$212,600 USD and total compensation of $174,300–$269,875 USD.
