1Password is hiring a Senior Director, Corporate Counsel to lead its Corporate Legal function and provide strategic legal guidance across mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, financing, corporate governance, compliance, equity, litigation, intellectual property, and marketing matters. The role reports to the VP, Legal & General Counsel, partners with business leaders, manages external counsel and complex projects, and is remote within the United States or Canada. The posting requires a Juris Doctor, active bar membership in Canada or the United States, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, including law-firm experience and ideally late-stage private and public company work. Compensation is $269,000–$404,000 USD annually for USA-based roles and $234,000–$351,000 CAD annually for Canada-based roles, with benefits, paid time off, equity, and other incentives.
