Description
Tempus is hiring a Senior Director, Functional Genomics & Organoid Systems Biology to lead and expand its patient-derived organoid biology platform in Chicago. The role owns the wet lab component of a systems biology team, overseeing multidisciplinary scientists and research associates running large-scale functional screens such as CRISPR perturbation, drug sensitivity, single-cell and spatial technologies, and combination therapy studies in clinically annotated organoid models. The leader will define the scientific vision, partner with computational and clinical teams to turn real-world clinico-genomic data into experimentally validated therapeutic opportunities, and manage team development, budgets, and platform strategy.
