Description

USP is hiring a Senior Technical Director, Global Manufacturing Programs to provide end-to-end technical leadership for MedSuRe and other global manufacturing programs. The role oversees matrixed teams, technical execution, quality standards, risk management, program planning, stakeholder engagement, and technical strategy while leading multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need an advanced degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, public health, or a related field, at least 12 years of experience including pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing leadership, and expertise in manufacturing, technology transfer, scale-up, process validation, regulatory pathways, and complex program delivery. The position offers a base salary of USD 200,812 to 286,157 annually and a target annual bonus of 13%.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or MS) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Public Health, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 12 years of experience, including leadership in pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing environments
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technology transfer, scale-up, process validation, regulatory pathways, and route-to-market strategies
Experience leading complex programs or portfolios and managing risk, dependencies, and technical complexity
Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams and coordinating multiple workstreams
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience or exposure to low- and middle-income country markets
