GlobalFoundries is hiring a Senior Director of Optical Packaging Technology (OPT) Development within its Integrated Optics organization. The role owns the technical strategy and roadmap for advanced packaging, optics, and product engineering; leads package design, assembly, yield enhancement, qualification, reliability, and optical integration; and directs product engineering investigations and OSAT partner oversight. The position is based in Burlington, Vermont, requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, physics, or a related field, and 15+ years of progressive semiconductor or photonics packaging experience, with a salary range of $198,000 to $333,000.
