Description
GitLab is hiring a Senior Distribution Engineer on its Build team to manage build pipelines, maintain Linux packages and container images, support component integration, collaborate with security teams, manage cloud marketplace listings, and ensure license compliance. The role requires Linux build toolchain experience, production container-image work, Debian and Red Hat package-building, continuous-integration systems, shell scripting, cloud-provider experience, and English communication in a largely asynchronous remote environment. Additional experience with Ruby, Go, Python, Rust, or observability tools is helpful.
