Description
The Airfield Drainage Engineer will design, analyze, and implement surface and subsurface drainage systems for airport runways, taxiways, aprons, and ancillary facilities. The role includes hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, preparation of technical drawings and specifications, site inspections, coordination with pavement, geotechnical, and utility engineers, contractor submittal review, and preparation of drainage reports. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of drainage or stormwater engineering experience including 5 years focused on airfield or transportation infrastructure, and proficiency with civil and stormwater modelling software.
