Description
Loft is hiring a Senior Earth Observation Engineer to serve as the technical authority for optical payloads, image quality, and Earth observation mission performance. The role covers mission and payload requirements, optical payload development and testing, on-ground and in-orbit calibration and commissioning, data-processing strategy, customer and supplier coordination, and Earth observation roadmap development. Candidates need at least five years of space systems engineering experience on Earth observation missions, expertise in image quality and imagery calibration, optical payload experience, and at least one year of Python coding experience.
