The role evaluates proposals, presents and costs projects, negotiates deal points, edits manuscripts, manages the editorial lifecycle, and coordinates with marketing, publicity, design, and production teams. It requires at least five years of trade publishing editorial experience, a network of agent contacts, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position is based in New York, New York, follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office, and pays $75,000 to $80,000 per year.
