The role shapes daily and enterprise coverage, develops editorial franchises, monitors news trends, and collaborates with reporters, producers, senior editors, and audience teams. It requires at least eight years of digital newsroom or publishing editing experience, three years managing an editorial team, strong journalism and editorial judgment, and experience with SEO, analytics, digital news production, and AP Style. The position is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, is hybrid with at least three office days per week, and offers a salary range of $150,000-$200,000 plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave benefits.
