WGU is hiring a full-time Senior Educational Program Designer to lead the design of competency-based higher education programs. The role uses design thinking, systems thinking, and product design methods to create efficient, personalized, accessible, and financially sustainable learning pathways; collaborate with cross-functional teams; research industry and external standards; prototype and assess program options; establish success metrics; document designs; and provide thought leadership. The position requires at least three years of product, interaction, and visual design or development experience, a bachelor’s degree, background in online learning or educational products, and experience working on cross-organizational teams. It offers a pay range of $80,700 to $121,000, medical, dental, vision, and other benefits, and requires occasional travel of up to 20%.
