GenScript is hiring a fully onsite Senior EHS Specialist in Piscataway, New Jersey to build and operate environmental, health, and safety programs at existing research laboratories, including BSL-2 areas. The role covers chemical hygiene, hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, waste management, biosafety, inspections, exposure monitoring, facility and construction safety, emergency response, training, incident investigation, regulatory records, and EHS metrics. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in EHS, environmental science, engineering, or a related field, at least five years of EHS experience, and experience with research laboratories, biotechnology or pharmaceutical facilities, facility design reviews, and construction site safety.
