PG&E is hiring a Senior Electric Distribution Engineer in Oakland for a hybrid role supporting the planning, design, reliability, risk, regulatory, and lifecycle management of electric distribution, substation, and distributed generation systems. The position leads capacity planning, load forecasting, distribution automation, outage reviews, DER services, regulatory reporting, and performance metrics, while also mentoring engineers and coordinating with stakeholders. It requires a BSEE, MSEE, or PhD in Electrical Engineering and at least seven years of electrical power engineering and design experience, with an active California Professional Engineer license and relevant asset-management, data-analytics, reliability, and power-systems experience preferred.
