Description

Clorox is seeking a Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer to lead mid-to-large scale automation projects aimed at reducing costs, fostering innovation, and improving operational efficiency. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from defining scope and designing systems to procuring, managing vendors, and validating outcomes. The engineer will leverage expertise in Rockwell systems, industrial power, and SCADA/MES technologies, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to implement complex solutions and mentor colleagues.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5-8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing controls (CPG, Foods, discrete manufacturing)
Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical skills related to electrical/instrumentation and controls, industrial power distribution, and Rockwell control systems and devices.
Working knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, and NFPA standards.
Working knowledge of OT networks including industrial Ethernet, VLANs, switches, firewalls, and secure segmentation of control systems.
Working knowledge of data collection systems (SCADA, MES, Historian, SQL).
Ability to develop, read and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings.
Experience managing outside engineering firms, equipment vendors, and construction contractors to support project execution.
Experience managing spending to approved capital and expense budgets based on project estimates.
