Irvine Ranch Water District is hiring a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for its Electrical Services Department. The role performs journey-level maintenance, design, modification, construction, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems across water distribution, sewage, water treatment, and related facilities. The position also plans and coordinates contractor projects, trains lower-level staff, maintains maintenance records, and participates in after-hours standby. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of college-level electronics coursework, four years of journey-level experience, a valid California Class C driver’s license, and the ability to work in field, office, confined, and hazardous environments.
