Description
Konecranes is hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for its Technology, BU Quay electrical engineering team. The role creates electrical designs and documentation for equipment, including VFD systems, low-voltage distribution, auxiliaries, PLC systems with fieldbus communications, diagrams, parts lists, cable lists, and layout drawings. Responsibilities include electrical calculations, drive and cable selection, manufacturing data preparation, project coordination, and technical support. The position requires at least five years of electrical design experience, a bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering, international delivery project experience, and knowledge of inverters, VFDs, or PLCs. The role is hybrid, with an average of two to three days per week in the office in Hyvinkää, Finland, and applications were due by 30 September 2026.
