GeoSpectrum Technologies is hiring a Senior Electrical Designer in Peterborough, Ontario for a permanent, full-time onsite role. The position develops electrical designs and technical documentation for marine winch and handling systems, including wire runs, panel layouts, rack assemblies, circuit designs, schematics, BOMs, and electronic sub-assemblies. The designer will support build and test activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain project documentation, and troubleshoot design issues. The role requires a diploma in engineering technology or a related field, at least 10 years of engineering technology and design experience, and expertise with electrical CAD, wiring schematics, BOMs, electro-mechanical assemblies, PLC-based motor control systems, and industry safety standards.
