Description
The Senior Electrical Designer is a senior project-team member who creates trade-specific electrical schematics and layouts, performs surveys, calculations, equipment selections, and layouts, and supports the full project lifecycle. The role includes construction administration, shop-drawing review, field observations, reporting, and the Job Captain function, while also mentoring junior designers and coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and clients. The position requires at least four years of electrical design experience, a four-year engineering degree, advanced AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
