Description

Eurosort is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for advanced sorting machines used globally in logistics and automation. This role involves ensuring designs are safe, reliable, and practical, collaborating with suppliers, determining technical specifications, monitoring quality, and conducting component tests. The engineer will utilize EPLAN for schematic design and manage project data via Ridder IQ. A significant aspect of the role includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Proficiency in using EPLAN for electrical schematic design.
Experience processing project data in the ERP system Ridder IQ.
Expertise in designing electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8.
Strong ability to manage project information within the ERP system Ridder iQ.
Skill in technically specifying components to suppliers like control cabinets and sensors.
Capable of testing and assessing supplied components, including FATs.
Commitment to ensuring quality and consistency within engineering standards.
Knowledge of machinery directive compliance checks.
Ability to perform and assess risk analyses (PL/SIL).
Responsibility for reviewing and approving schematics from junior/mediator engineers.
Proactive identification and implementation of technical and process enhancements.
Effective coordination with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, PLC/software, and others.
