Description
HDR is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for its electrical team in Virginia Beach, Newport News, or Arlington, Virginia. The role leads and coordinates electrical engineering work for building and facilities projects serving water/wastewater, municipal, industrial, and federal clients. Responsibilities include electrical design leadership, client relations, code-compliance reviews, project scheduling and financial coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and mentoring. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis, at least 10 years of building electrical design experience, a recognized professional engineering license, and strong knowledge of power, lighting, signaling, life-safety, and building management systems, as well as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
