Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its electrical team in Virginia Beach, Newport News, or Arlington, Virginia. The role leads and coordinates electrical engineering work for building and facility projects serving water/wastewater, municipal, industrial, and federal clients, including electrical power, lighting, signals, life safety, and building management systems. Responsibilities include client relations, project design and documentation, code compliance reviews, scheduling and financial coordination, agency coordination, and mentoring electrical staff. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis, at least 10 years of building electrical design experience, a professional engineering license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
