Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead and coordinate electrical engineering work for McDermott projects, including conceptual and detailed design, studies, calculations, schematics, load lists, one-line diagrams, cable sizing, relay coordination, cost and planning studies, vendor packages, inspection and factory acceptance testing, and site support through commissioning and start-up. The role reports to a Project Lead Engineer and supervises electrical engineers, while coordinating with engineering disciplines, fabrication, safety, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and customers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical degree, 8–15 years of detailed electrical engineering experience, and familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, SPEL, ETAP, and Microsoft Office.
