Rocket Lab Optical Systems is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer II in Tucson, Arizona to support the development and testing of avionics hardware for electro-optical systems. The role covers hardware architecture, FPGA and microcontroller electronics, PCBA design, requirements and verification, environmental qualification, failure analysis, production manufacturing, and technical mentorship. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or another engineering discipline, at least 8 years of electrical hardware design experience, PCBA and FPGA experience, analog electronics expertise, and SPICE and Excel proficiency. U.S. citizenship is required for U.S. office work.
