Description

Hologic is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer, NPD to design, develop, troubleshoot, and qualify the electronics for breast and skeletal health imaging products. The role covers printed circuit assemblies, power distribution, cables, harnesses, prototypes, test fixtures, regulatory testing, manufacturing and field-service support, and design documentation. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 5–8+ years of electrical or electronic design experience; fewer years may be acceptable with advanced degrees
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an FDA-regulated medical device or similarly regulated industry
Experience with analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and PCBA manufacturing
Proficiency with schematic capture or PCB CAD tools
Hands-on use of laboratory test equipment
Knowledge of SMPS, mixed-signal design, EMI/ESD mitigation, SI/PI, and high-speed interfaces
Familiarity with IEC 60601-1, ISO 14971, EMC standards, and the full product lifecycle
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional project leadership
Ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with limited guidance
