AECOM is hiring a Senior OHL Engineer to provide technical support and lead the design of overhead transmission line projects, including work on the National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade. The role covers PLS-CADD modelling, line routing, structural analysis, sag-tension calculations, conductor and insulator selection, feasibility studies, compliance, client presentations, and quality checks. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, CEng Chartered Engineer status, and preferably experience with UK transmission projects and overhead line engineering up to 400kV.
