Description
Astro Mechanica is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on power electronics and power systems development. The role covers the full product lifecycle, including high-performance power converter design, system trades, component selection, schematic capture, layout, bring-up, debugging, manufacturing, testing, and flight support. The engineer will collaborate with other disciplines on high-power propulsion and generation systems and work in a fast-paced aerospace startup environment. The position requires a relevant advanced degree, at least five years of power converter experience, high-voltage and high-power converter expertise, and proficiency with power electronics design, simulation, and hardware testing tools. The role is primarily in-office, with five days per week in the office considered essential.
