Description

Axon is hiring a founding Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in radio hardware and chip-down design to own the architecture, integration, development, and validation of multi-radio systems for mission-critical connected hardware. The role covers chipset and component selection, schematic and PCB design, RF coexistence and interference, antenna and mechanical integration, bring-up and debugging, certification, manufacturing ramp, and mass production. Candidates need at least seven years of relevant electrical, radio hardware, or RF electronics design experience, a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, and experience with chip-down radio design, relevant wireless technologies, RF circuitry, professional schematic and PCB tools, and regulatory or carrier certification. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite work Tuesday through Friday at one of three regional hubs in New York City, Boston, or Scottsdale, Arizona, with domestic travel of up to 50% as needed.
